FIX FOR "THIS
PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED" ERROR IN WINDOWS XP
*** This fix
works for Windows XP Only.
Symptoms: WINDOWS
XP users may experience "This page cannot be
displayed" using Internet Explorer 6 after 4 - 5
minutes online.
Cause: Due to a
flaw in Microsoft's Windows XP software, the IP Stack
may periodically become corrupt and must be reset.
Presently, the fix listed below will solve this problem,
however, the symptoms may reappear over time and this
fix must be run again.
Fix: Follow
the directions below:
Step1: Click on your
"Start Button" (lower left corner of your
screen)
Step 2: Go to
"Run" and click on it
Step 3: In the Box, type
"CMD" and hit <ENTER> This will open the
CLI (Command Line Interface)
Step 4: type in the
following: netsh
int ip reset resetlog.txt and
press <ENTER> Now, type EXIT and press
<ENTER>
Step 5: reboot your
computer START> SHUTDOWN> RESTART
Your computer should now
function correctly
